Resurrecting the REAL You!

Resurrecting the REAL You!
Remember the Velveteen Rabbit book?
An ignored stuffed rabbit needed to be loved. The little boy who owned him but never played with him. One day, an awful thing happened. The boy was subjected to a contagious fever, and he became gravely ill.. The bunny was allowed into the boy’s bedroom to comfort him.. Finally bunny was good enough.
Sometimes bunny got hurt when the boy held him too tightly. And he began to look ratty and worn. But pain was better than being ignored. Love had its price.
The boy recovered. Bunny felt so wonderful. He finally belonged. He was grateful to be worthy of love. But tragedy awaited. The doctor ordered everything in the boy’s contagious room to be destroyed.
And then a miracle happened. Love conquered all. Bunny became real! A miracle of BECOMING.
What is your miracle going to be?
How can you become REAL again in your own thinner body and hopeful heart?
Tips to discover what makes you real:
Get a cool journal and start writing your first memories
Write 5 feeling words to describe you as a kid. Then teen, Then adult.
Write what happened that caused you pain.
Write what happened that caused you joy?
Write what the word, “Free” means to you
BREATHE in love for yourself.
